Delinda Ann Freeman, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at her daughter’s residence in Edmond, Oklahoma after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
Delinda was born on June 26, 1936, in Lexington, N.C. to the late Cletus Alexander Lopp and Olive Mae Yates Lopp.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who knew her.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 10-10:50 a.m. prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
In addition to her parents and 5 siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Irving, Wayne Freeman, Charles Freeman and David Freeman; grandchildren, David Irving and wife Hannah, Joshua Irving and wife Jenah, William Freeman, Andrew Zielinski and wife Wendy, Jay Isham and Connor Freeman and 11 great grandchildren.
