Freda Jacqueline "Jackie" (Facemire) Foote

Freda Jacqueline “Jackie” Facemire Foote, 75, of Fayetteville, NC, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with family and friends by her side.

Jackie was born December 23, 1948, in Staunton, VA, to the late Leonard Eugene Facemire and Mary Lovett Pierce Derflinger.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Ralph R. Foote, III; daughter, Lori Foote; sister, Beverly Bostick; and brother, Terry Facemire, several nieces and nephews, in addition to other family members and friends.

Jackie was a retired High School English / AP English teacher from South View High School in Fayetteville, NC. She loved to read, had a great appreciation for music and playing the piano, as well as teaching and making a difference in the lives of all the students she taught.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home.
