Obituary

Ma Carmencita Cabahit Estarbo, 66, of Fayetteville, NC formerly of the Philippines, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents Pedro and Maria Estardo.

Carmen was a very strong minded, high Spirited, determined individual with a heart of gold.
Carmen was one of Fayetteville Multi-Million Dollar Realtor who worked for several companies from 1980 to 2000 and owns several successful businesses. Carmen’s passion and love for children inspired her to chase her dream and built, what turned out to be one of the largest daycare chains in Fayetteville and surrounding areas, KOALA DAYCARE, KOALA ACADEMY, each center having the capacity to have 100 children or more. Carmen’s love and compassion for children and people reached abroad to her home in the Philippines where she built a school for the children and feeds the less fortune every year at Christmas. Carmen was a concerned citizen and member of many organization to include Spring Lake Chamber of Commerce where she worked to help improve the town of Spring Lake. Carmen’s accolades and charitable contribution are numerous.
Survivors are her sons; Sonnie Bost (Yukiko), Joshua Bost, Johnathan Bost and daughter Shirlyn Ruben; grandchildren; Samantha, Marjon and Marvin Ruben; Sonnie Jr.,Shawntell, Sho, Shin, Sarina, Shun Pedro and Shyne Alfred Bost.
The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Jernigan- Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place later in the Philippines.
