Obituary

FAYETTEVILLE - Stanley Holt Randolph, 73 of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Alamance County North Carolina on June 4, 1943 to Edward Glenn and Pearl Holt Randolph. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Barbara June Randolph; son Howard Randolph and wife, Angie of Fayetteville; daughters, Carrie Louque and spouse, Stan Davis, of Raeford and Sharon Taylor and husband, Scott of Fayetteville.

He was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Joshua Randolph, Haleigh Swenfurth, Emilie Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Joseph Randolph and Ryan Rogers. Mr. Randolph was the favorite uncle of many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a brother, Terry Wayne Randolph, of Asheville, and a sister-n-law, Retha Barbour of Dunn.

After graduating from Fayetteville High in 1962, he joined the U.S. Navy serving in the Seabees. He completed a two year tour of Vietnam returning home to become a city mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service from which he retired.

In the early 1970’s, he opened Cumberland Mobile Homes, a popular mobile home restoration business in Fayetteville. He was also well known as an avid classic car enthusiast who was a master mechanic and body man. He was a wonderful family man and friend to many. His gregarious laugh will be missed by all.

Family will receive friends from 11:30 to 12:45 Saturday, May 20th, at Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home; graveside services will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery #3 at 1:00pm.

The family requests that all attendees drive their classic cars in tribute to Stanley.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the General Fund of Grace Baptist Church, 3901 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304.
