Celebrating the life of William O'Briant Walker, Jr.
Thank you for signing William O'Briant Walker, Jr. 's Guestbook
The death of a loved one pains us like no other tragedy we experience does. This is due to the fact that our Creator made us to live and not to die. Death is a sad consequence of what we find when we read written at Roman 5:12 and Romans 6:23. we die because of what the first man Adam did. he forfeited the opportunity of living on the earth forever not just for himself but for us also. Out of love for us < our heavenly Father made a provision that could redeem us, Adam's descendants even those who die prematurely. that provision is described for us at Romans 5:18, 19. I encourage you as a family to read those faith-strengthening words and be comforted as I have many, many times. So sorry for your loss.

My deep condolences to the Walker family:
Although, we have never met I have lost loved ones to the pain of death. And I would like to share what helped me during those most difficult times.
It wasn't just being around family & friends. But the hope & encouragement you get from the gift that the Most High God gave to each & everyone of us, yes that is His written word the Bible (Psalms 83:18 & 2Timothy 3:16). Please, notice how God's precious son Jesus viewed death in such a gentle way. At John 11:11-14 yes he viewed death as one sleeping. And God gives us the assurance that there will be a resurrection of loved ones from the sting of death (John 5:28, 29). And He even says where they are are & where they will be (Daniel 12:2 & Psalms 37:11). May you look forward to God's promises being fulfilled (Titus 1:2).
I hope these few Scriptures were of some comfort. Please feel free to contact me or visit jw.org for more words of encouragement. Our daughter fell asleep in death and recently my precious husband of 50 years fell asleep in death also. I truly understand.
With deep sympathy,
