Celebrating the life of Jack Britt
Thank you for signing Jack Britt's Guestbook
I am remembering all of you in prayer during this difficult time. In the mid-seventies, Dr. Britt made a way for me to interview for a job on a weekend with three principals. (I had wanted to transfer from Iredell Co. to Cumberland Co. Schools, but did not feel comfortable skipping a day of my work to come to Fayetteville to interview.) He was kind enough to make an allowance. I got the job and have remained in Cumberland Co Schools for the past 41 years. I appreciated his integrity and straight forward manner. He was an excellent man, and I will always have fond memories of him. Blessings to all the family. Yvonne Porter

Hello Britt Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too, well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these, it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5:28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.

Allyson, I want to extend my condolences to you and your family. I was very sorry to hear of your father's passing so suddenly right here at the holidays. My own father had a bad fall earlier this month and I am very fortunate it did not take his life. My mother thought the world of her favorite superintendent and I know she would also want me to share her condolences. She has Alzheimer's. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless, Jacquie, FAY 82
