Obituary

Rosemary Kemp Bishop Taylor, 90, of Fayetteville passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Rosemary was born in Charleston, West Virginia to the late Ethel Florence Swingle and Harold Anderson Bishop. She was raised in Glen Ferris, West Virginia and always considered it her home.

Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Raymond E. Taylor.

Rosemary was graduated in 1945 from Gauley Bridge High School in Gauley Bridge, West Virginia. She was a 1949 graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio with a degree in education. She was also a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority.
Rosemary was a former member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charleston, West Virginia and a member of Riverview United Methodist Church at Glen Ferris. She was the organist and pianist for Charlton Heights United Methodist Church for over 20 years. Rosemary was a wonderful homemaker for her husband and children in their beautiful home at Charlton Heights.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Camp Ground United Methodist Church with the Dr. Tom Greener, officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Moose and her husband Mike of Fayetteville; her sons, Hal Taylor and his wife Candy of Richmond Hill, Georgia and Eddie Taylor and his wife Kathy of Apex; grandchildren, Ray Moose and his wife Jennifer, Mary Moose Jones and her husband Mark, Holly Nelson, Lindsay Bennett and her husband Neil, David Taylor, Adam Taylor and Jayne Taylor; great-grandchildren, Aliyah Moose, Aidan Moose, Rylan Moose, Wyatt Jones, Hannah Taylor, Brandon Bennett, Catie Nelson, Jacob Taylor and Summer Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camp Ground United Methodist Church General Fund 4625 Camp Ground Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314.
