Bishop Johnson served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal from 1974-1978. He received Christ as his Lord and Savior in 1996. When the calling on his life became greater Bishop Johnson began to pastor Praise the Lord Ministries in 1997 with his wife Diane who he married in September of 1993. Education was of the utmost importance to Bishop Johnson and as a part of furthering his education he obtained his Associates Degree in Applied Science Information Systems in June of 2004 from Fayetteville Technical Community College. During his time in the ministry Bishop Johnson and Pastor Diane opened PTL Home Healthcare in June of 2004. One of the many goals obtained in his life was becoming a published author to two books: The Go-Ahead Man and God I’m Returning Your Word It Don’t Work as well as a workbook titled, Identifying Your Kingdom Assignment in the Earth. As a person many went to for advice and guidance, Bishop Johnson was definitely the “Go-Ahead” man that wanted to see you grow and flourish so some day you could make him rich and he would not have to work anymore. All who knew him knew that he was a man of dignity, assurance, love and understanding. Today we say goodbye to that man that was a devoted husband, father, brother, friend, uncle and confidant. We commend him to the safekeeping of the Master. You will be missed man of God….
