Christiane Annette Andre Wilson



It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Christiane Annette Andre Wilson on May 17, 2017. She was married 47 years to her husband 1SG Retired Charles Russell Wilson.

Christiane Annette Andre Wilson was Born, January 15, 1947, in Toul, France. Mother Suzanne Andre Lorrain (deceased), She is preceded by Brothers, Robert Lorrain, and Roger Lorrain (both deceased). Sisters Denise Lorrain (deceased), Jacqueline Lorrain Bertrand, and Micheline Lorrain Repiquet.

Survived by two daughters Patricia M. S. Diggs, Kathie B. Wilson. There are three Grandsons Antonyo Wilson-Thompson, Brian Wilson-Diggs and Montel Diggs. She has one Grand-daughter Moniquie Diggs. There are three Great Grandsons Khymari, Brian JR., and Kingston-Alexander.

She leaves five nephews and six nieces living in France. She leaves many in-laws and friends both the United States and France. After marriage she supported her husband with his military career by becoming an American Citizen. She has been proud being a military family member. Christiane was very proud of her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was a resident of Maryland for 29 years prior making her home of Fayetteville for 6 years. She enjoyed home decorating, cooking French and American cuisine. Prior to retirement, Christiane worked in retail and sales in France and the United States. She was noteworthy for her travel and site seeing.

A wake will be held Tuesday evening May 23, 2017 in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home from 7:00pm to 8:30pm This will be for family and friends gathering and viewing of the body. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the next day at 12noon, Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at St. Ann Catholic Church, burial will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens on Raeford Road.
