Martha Till Cade passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Thursday.
Martha was a graduate of Fayetteville Academy and the UNC-Chapel Hill School of Journalism. She worked for the Educational Foundation at UNC-CH and later in her career as an IT Analyst for NeuLion, Inc. Martha was a longtime member of MacPherson Presbyterian Church and served in several roles, most recently as Chair of the Presbyterian Women.
Martha had a love of small children and put her utmost energy in raising her three beautiful daughters, Julianna, Lilly Grace, and Catherine. She is also survived by her Father, Frank R. Till, her Sister Sharyn O’Briant, nephews Colin and Brendan, and Joseph, her husband of 21 years.
Martha was extremely active in her Church, and was a frequent volunteer in her children's schools to help the classroom teacher with children who needed one on one time. She was wonderful with keeping friends near and far up to date. Martha was a lovely, caring, Christian woman who was constantly helping others. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive guests during the visitation at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6-8 pm. A celebration of Martha’s life will be held at MacPherson Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 11 am followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to MacPherson Presbyterian Church or to the charity of one’s own choosing.

My deepest condolences to the Till/Cade family:
Life indeed does take its turns. May you cherish those beautiful memories. She will be missed. And, my heart aches for you. May you look forward to the Most High God of Comfort fulfilling His promises (Psalms 83:18 & 2Corinthians 1:3, 4). Notice what He promises: Revelations 21:4 ( No more pain, tears, sorrow or death) and He even says where they are (Daniel 12:2), and the beautiful resurrection hope (John 5:28, 29) and where they will be ( Psalms 37:11) and how long (Psalms 37:29).
I hope that these few Scriptures were of some comfort to you as they were to us when our precious daughter fell asleep in death and recently my beloved husband of 50 years fell asleep in death. I truly understand the deep pain of losing a loved one. Please hold onto those precious promises yes, seeing our loved ones again in perfect health (Isaiah 33:24).
My deep deep heartfelt sympathy,

To the family of Martha Till Cade. I pray that you will have peace as a family while enduring this great loss. She was quite an accomplished young woman with so many success stories in her life. May those type of memories sustain you at this difficult time. We look forward to the time when death will be done away with as is promised in the Bible at Revelation 21: 3,4. Keep the words of Jesus in mind where he tells us that he is the resurrection and the life. Look forward to the future of seeing her again embraced by her wonderful family.

Ben and I first knew Martha 29 years ago as a 16 year old Junior at Fayetteville Academy. She has always been a cheerleader for others, a dedicated student and friend, a shining example of what Jesus Christ wanted his followers to be in that she has always been generous with her love for her fellow man/lady. She radiated her Christian love for others. We knew her first as a delightful daughter who had so many of her father's wonderful traits. She loved her family of origin and then multiplied that love with Joseph and their three daughters. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Till's and the Cade's in this heartbreaking loss. May God's peace carry you through the difficult days ahead. Ben and Libbie Crabtree
